Concrete

Some more work from my second year at GSA. experimenting with concrete. I chose to make rectangles in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. i also expeimented with the different agregates to put inside each one. when i took them out of their moulds i could effect the surface, making them flat or lumpy. Once fired i polished the flat surfaces with a diamond polisher.

Mugs

A series of mugs that i made in my second year at GSA. They are cast with stoneware and the distorted. Clear glaze is used on the inside and they are dipped in blue slip. i especially like the upward dribbles.

Extrusion

Some pieces i made in my second year at the GSA. I put them in to the xmas sale, but i think i priced them too high :) didnt really want to sell them anyway. I liked them too much at the time.

They are extruded earthenware, twisted and squeezed together.

New

This is the first time i have ever 'blogged' so im a little excited :)
I have set up this blogg site so that i have somewhere to display my ceramic work, talk about it and recieve feedback.
